A mockup of the boxart for Resident Evil 4. Quite nice, in my own opinion.

I actually had to do this for school, and thus the whole thing was done during school hours. The images weren't exactly easy to find, and a lot of PhotoShopping had to be done to fit it all into place. Also, the castle in the background is actually Salazar's Castle from the game of the same name - however, I changed the hue since the I had trouble making the original blue blend in.

I think the biggest problem is with the lighting - it's too dark, even though that is the game's nature. I tried to fix up the contrast, and dodge wherever I could, but still... also, I think I may have crowed it. I was only basing the design off of the North American boxarts of the game, but... nonetheless, I am happy with the overall results. I haven't seen all the game covers in my school yet, but I definitely think mine came out better than most others (mine has all the little logos and console banner, as well as top-notch images and proper logos - an aspect usually superior to generic text and sloppy screenshot images, which I saw a lot of). Comments and criticism acceptable...

in my opinion resident evil is the best out of all of them and the leaste scariest before resident evil 5 came along *groans* why capom WHY!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, this boxart is awsome. I have never liked the boxarts of the RE games much to be honestly.
I love Resident Evil 4 but I still misslike it´s cover.
You done a better job indeed you should be graphic designer it is a well paid job.

But to criticize you I think the cover is a little bit "crowded" if you know what I mean and the CAPCOM logo is too large.
The good things: the pictures are placed right and they have the righ solution espially the sky is very nice done.
